"My Perfect Pony” gave me the necessary tools to make the right choice
in purchasing a safe pony for my young son, something he can connect and
grow with that will give him some independence.The easy to follow
format gave me more knowledge than I realised I actually needed to make a
good decision.Our journey took much longer than I had anticipated and
it was much harder to find something that met all the criteria needed in
a safe and reliable child’s pony.
There are lots of ponies available on the market and at times I was ready to give up and just buy one of the many that did not make the cut after a seller had sold a prospective pony to someone else because they wanted a quick sale rather than a safe one. After nearly six months, hundreds of ads, plenty of hours spent on the phone, emails and text, three ponies made it through to the final stages. We now own one very beautiful and safe pony named Cherry. "My Perfect Pony” helped us find her and I am forever grateful for this excellent resource being available. I would highly recommend anyone (with horse experience or not) that is thinking of purchasing, leasing or being given a pony for their child or children to read this first. Your child’s safety is number one and this book and website combination will ensure you have all the necessary tools to make the right choice. It will also give you the confidence to say no when the pony is not suitable and to be able to instruct the seller for specific actions when more information is needed.
